Just $74 a pop gets you a full 14.3 inches of travel, a whopping 46mm piston riding on a 14mm hard-chromed rod, self-adjusting valving, vulcanized rubber bushings and durable bright-zinc plating!

And 5100s also come with travels of 11.94", 10.17", 9.6", 8.13", 6.63" and stock-replacement sizes.

Bilstein 7100s are inexpensively user-rebuildable.

You can quickly and easily revalve them yourself if your needs change.  7100s are available with either remote reservoirs (shown) or with Schrader valves.  Either way,  you can add or remove nitrogen (available at most motorcycle shops) to tweak the damping.   If space is a problem or you want to get more travel in existing shock mounts, a remote reservoir allows longer travel from a shorter overall shock length (collapsed length).
