A.O.R. Customer's Rigs in Action A.O.R. customers are some of the most DISTURBED 'wheelers on the planet. And we love to show their rigs in action. That's what this page is for. Check back here often. We'll update the page regularly. And be sure to send us any great action pix you have of your own A.O.R.-equipped rig (email pix or send color prints only, 3x5 or 4x6 are fine, no negatives). Include your name and phone number, info about the rig and where the pictures were taken. We'll give you photo credit, but we can't return photos. If you missed any of the awesome rigs we've featured on this page before, simply click HERE to check 'em out in the Guts 'n Glory Archive. AND check out our new ACTION GALLERY to see a bunch of cool pix we don't have room for elsewhere! |

Wild Yoats member Rich Parker loves to trail-twist his '85 SR5 4Runner to the max every chance he gets--just like he's doing here on Moab's Lower Helldorado. The great flex comes from a ton of A.O.R. goodies including: 5-inch lift Orbit-Eye Springs, U-Bolt Flip, BONZ shackles, long-travel Bilstein 7100 remote reservoir shocks, underbed extended rear shock mount, and extended front shock mounts. Rich's tires are 35" Super Swamper SSRs.
Above and right: Keith George tells us his trail-tough '75 FJ-40 'Cruiser flexes even better than these pix show thanks to a shackle-reverse spring-over-axle swap using A.O.R. Orbit-EyeTM springs, 12-inch-travel Fox Shox and a 1" body lift. Other ultra-beef includes custom hybrid 4.88 Dana 60s front and rear, 37" MTRs on Champion beadlocks, a built Chevy 327, SM465 tranny, Atlas II t'case, and Hi-Angle Drivelines with 1-ton CVs. Send us more pix, Keith!
Is this a tough life or what? Check out the palm trees and ocean in the background above. Pearl City, Hawaii resident Allen Wong gets to 'wheel his insane A.O.R.-equipped '85 Toy in competition then head right to the beach. Poor guy. Guess somebody has to make the sacrifice!
A.O.R.'s Over-Engine Shock Mount system arches over Allen's massaged 22R and supports the remote reservoirs for his 14-inch travel Bilstein 7100 shocks.
After you've checked out the rest of this page, CLICK HERE to surf over to the Wild Yoats site and see the action at their insane Yotafari in Moab! We're proud that lotsa those guys run A.O.R. hardware.
Like those tricky tube doors? You can get 'em from A.O.R. right now! And in case you're wondering, this 'Runner is Patti's own rig -- built just the way she likes it!
You'll be seeing Patti at many more Rock Crawling events all over. You may even see her Dad spotting her again (that's him above). And you can see more of her A.O.R.- equipped 'Runner right now on our Wuzzup in the Shop Archives page.

Allen ordered A.O.R.'s 6-inch Orbit-EyeTM springs and added a 3-inch body lift and cut-out front fenders to clear his 38.5x11 Boggers. The bed's wheel openings are stretched and reworked to clear the big meats, too.
Evolution Auto Works on Oahu added the trick diagonals between A.O,R.'s Thru-Bed Shock Mount and the interior roll cage. The rear window is Lexan.
Evolution Auto Works custom-fabbed the diff skid plate and safety ring for the Hi-Angle Driveline. They also made all the bumpers and nerfs bars out of Chromoly steel. And check out A.O.R.'s Orbit-Eyes and Gold BONZTM shackles. We're always pleased to be chosen for tough-trick buildups like Allen Wong's! Thanks, Allen!
As we've said before, the license plate on Patti Dick's awesome 'Runner says "4x4 MOM" but this certainly ain't yo momma's Oldsmobile. And that's no little 'ol lady drivin' it! Patti beat out a bunch of high-dollar rock buggies and others to take 11th out of 37 rigs in the National Rock Crawling Championship for Women in Farmington, NM on Sept. 22- 23.
You should see the video! Even after her 'Runner tipped over, Patti stayed on the gas and actually drove the rig back onto four tires (as shown below)!
