And the Orbit-EyeTM increases axle
articulation (suspension flex), too. The Orbit-Eye's precision-machined, cold-rolled
steel ball rides inside a special molybdenum-based nylon socket. Rustproof aluminum
spanner nuts secure the ball-and-socket inside a .120-wall steel housing. The Orbit-EyeTM design is unique and not available anywhere else! |

springs in any lift height you need. Prices quoted below apply to lift heights from stock to 6

military-wrap eyes on the frame-mount end, Teflon inserts to reduce friction and improve
flex, and long-travel keepers to allow maximum axle articulation without overstressing the
main leaf. |

| Beware
of one-size-fits-all aftermarket springs!
Stock Toyota front springs aren't identical. That's
because their perches are at different heights on the axle housing. Yet some suspension
companies sell identical front springs and expect you to weld a shim on your axle to make
your truck sit level. Not us! Our front springs are arched differently to
fit your truck. We don't expect you to permanently modify your truck to fit
our springs! |
For
increased axle articulation, Alcan normally builds Orbit-EyeTM
and Poly-EyeTM rear springs 5 inches longer than stock rear
springs (front springs are typically stock length).
However, we can build stock-length rear springs if you prefer. All
rear springs include an extra torque leaf to reduce rear axle wrap. We can also
relocate the center pin on the front and/or rear pack to increase wheelbase and maximize
fender-well clearance for large tires. Front springs normally have the center pin
1.5 inches forward of the stock position. See FAQ: What Size Tire... for more details. |

| You'll
need new spring hangers for longer-than-stock rear springs and for front
or rear Orbit-EyeTM
springs.
A.O.R. weld-on hangers are laser-cut from top-quality
3/16-inch steel plate. In
the rear, simply leave
your stock hangers in place. Just weld the new ones in front of them. They
won't interfere with your rear Alcan springs.
Mounting
front Orbit-EyeTM springs
requires trimming down the stock front mounts and welding A.O.R. mounts
in their places. But it's no big deal to do. Click HERE

Whether
you choose Orbit-EyeTM or Poly-EyeTM springs, they'll come
with all the necessary top-quality polyurethane bushings for the standard spring eyes,
shackles and frame. Your choice of red, yellow or black.

out the Poly-EyeTM!
Poly-EyeTM rear spring includes all the same
quality and performance features of the Orbit-EyeTM springs except for the
Orbit-EyeTM itself. With polyurethane bushings at both ends, the Poly-EyeTM
spring is intended for Toyota builders who want the superior ride quality and performance
of Alcan suspensions, but who don't subject their rigs to the extreme flex conditions
that led to the development of the Orbit-EyeTM.
