Keep on reading to see why this is a screamin' deal at $6995 - Then call 970-257-0872 to see and drive it!

This great '73 was a buildup project for Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine in the late 1990's and has been featured in numerous articles in 4x4 Power as well.  It's been 'wheeled enough to prove it works great, but never abused, and it has been rarely driven in the past several years (I have two kids now, need I say more?) It's basically a new truck, just broken in.

All upgrades to have been professionally installed and have less than 5000 miles on them:

ENGINE & ACCESSORIES:

  • Professionally assembled Performance Automotive Warehouse (PAW) Chevy 383ci Stroker with 4wheeling (RV) cam

  • Hi-volume oil pump, Milodon 7-quart oil pan, and  pre-oiler (brings up oil pressure before engine is started).

  • Holley Pro-Jection 4D fuel injection (with in-cab 6-dial adjustment),

  • ACCEL HEI distributor, 150-amp alternator, year-old dual batteries with diode isolator, M.A.D. remote solenoid, gear-reduction starter.

  • Doug Thorley stainless steel Tri-Y headers.  Stock smog equipment included but not installed.

  • Flowmaster muffler with 3-inch exhaust.

TRANNY & TRANSFER CASE:
Jet Performance TH700R-4 overdrive tranny with Hurst floor shifter; rebuilt NP-208 transfer case.

SUSPENSION:
Front:
6-inch Tuff Country springs with Offroad Design Sway Bar Disconnects

Rear: Offroad Design 4-inch Shackle Flip with 2-inch Tuff Country springs (very smooth and flexy!) 17-plus inches of wheel travel (full stuff to full droop) with 35s. 12-inch travel Tuff Country shocks front and rear; dual steering stabilizers.

AXLES & TIRES:
Front: Offroad Unlimited rebuilt ¾-ton disc-brake Dana 44 w/open 4.10 diff

Rear: Offroad Unlimited rebuilt ¾-ton GM Corporate 14-bolt with 4.10 Lock-Right Locker, and TSM Rear Disc-Brake Conversion.

Tires: 35x12.50x15 BFG All-Terrains (90% tread, spare never on the ground) on 15x10 Superior Whitespoke wheels.

INTERIOR:
Full padded roll cage, Deist 5-point harness, rebuilt tilt column, Grant Security removable steering wheel, Autometer tach, oil and temp gauges, By Cobra seat cover

AND:  MegaWinch 2-speed gear-drive 12,000-lb winch & bumper, Pro-Comp 130 lights, locking rear cargo bumper, DeeZee Gold Series removable bed box, tow hitch, dual 15-gal. fuel tanks w/skid plates; Extra 6” lift springs front and rear.

WHAT’S WRONG?  Nothing important. Heater core is shot.  Windshield is cracked (but fine).  Paint on the hood and roof is getting a bit chalky.  Dash is ratty and hard to change out because of roll bar brace. Roll bar wrap is sun-faded.  Vise-Grip window cranks.  Wood bed is getting shaky.  E-brakes need cables (or do they?).  No neutral-safety switch (good thing or bad?).
