All Don's projects are unique, one-of-a-kind homes.  No two are exactly alike.  And he likes to form an intimate, creative relationship with his owners early in the process so that the house reflects not only the owners' unique tastes and needs, but also Don's unique vision and ability to combine practical function with artistic expression.

Nevertheless, Don occasionally finds the opportunity--a particularly attractive lot or a chance to create an exceptional home--to build a truly extraordinary "spec" home.

Recently, Don came across this 1/2-acre lot with spectacular views of the Colorado National Monument that he simply couldn't pass up.  A spectacular 4-bedroom, 3-1/2-bath home is now under construction.  It's inspired by, but not a copy of, another spec home Don built and sold in 2004.
